Integrating with Sitecore CDP

Abstract

Provides an introduction to integrating with Sitecore CDP (Data model 2.1)

Sitecore CDP provides different integration options depending on the type of application you are integrating, whether your organization uses a website tag manager on the application's webpages, and other considerations.

If your organization runs a website tag manager on your web or mobile application, we recommend integrating using the Boxever™ JavaScript Library (boxever.js). You can use the Boxever JavaScript Library to quickly integrate and capture fast flowing, high velocity behavioral data.

Alternatively, if your organization is integrating a native application, we recommend using direct HTTPS calls with Sitecore CDP Stream APIs.

If you are integrating a hybrid application with Sitecore CDP, we recommend a combination of integration methods. To integrate the native parts of your hybrid application, we recommend using direct HTTPS calls with Sitecore CDP Stream APIs. For web content that uses WebViews to display in your hybrid application, we recommend using the Boxever JavaScript library with a website tag manager.

Tip

You can reference the Sitecore CDP Knowledge Hub for tips on integrating with Sitecore CDP, including how to use the browserId attribute to ensure that Sitecore CDP associates events to the same guest profile, whether the guest was interacting with WebView content or with the native parts of your hybrid application.
