# Features

You can turn features on and off [using the Content Hub ONE app](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch-one/en/developers/content-hub-one/content-management-api/manage-features-using-the-app.md "Manage features using the app") if you have the necessary permissions, or you can use the API. Each feature has a Boolean setting (`true` or `false`) that controls the availability of the feature. When you turn a feature off, associated settings become unavailable, but you can still see the feature in the app. Currently, you can only turn the following AI-assisted features on and off:

- **aiForContentItem** - the AI-assisted content authoring feature lets you [generate content items](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch-one/en/users/content-hub-one/en/generate-content-using-ai.html) as well as [refine, improve, and translate text](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch-one/en/users/content-hub-one/en/refine,-improve,-or-translate-text-using-ai.html) at the individual field level.
- **aiForContentType** - the AI-assisted content modeling feature lets you [generate content types](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch-one/en/users/content-hub-one/en/create-a-content-type-using-ai.html) based on a prompt.

## Turn a feature on or off

Use this method to turn features on or off. In this example, the `aiForContentItem` feature is turned on and the `aiForContentType` feature is turned off.
