# Duplicate content

To create new content quickly, you can make a copy of an existing content item and then modify it. The duplicated content item is assigned a new and unique ID.

To duplicate content:

1. On the menu bar, click **Content**.
2. On the **Content** page, next to the content item you want to make a copy of, click **More actions** ![More Actions icon](https://doc.sitecore.com/api/markdown-image/ch-one/en/users/content-hub-one/images/more-actions-chone.png) > **Duplicate**. A copy of the item is added to the **Content** page, with *copy* appended to the item name. Click the content item name to open its detail page and modify it as required.
