# Policy

Each user and user group has a policy in the system represented by a Policy Resource. This resource can be used to retrieve and update the policy of the user or user group.

The following methods are supported: **GET**, **HEAD**, **POST**.

## GET /api/policies/id

Returns a [Policy Object](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/developers/cloud-dev/policy.html "Policy") that contains the state of the policy.
