Data model
Sitecore Content Hub provides a configurable data model, which is a structured representation of the underlying database. The data model – also known as a schema – includes entity definitions such as assets, products, or projects. Each definition consists of properties, and is linked to other definitions using relations.
You can customize the schema by creating or editing entity definitions, defining taxonomies and option lists, establishing relations between entities, and so on.
For performance reasons, we recommend that the number of relation definitions assigned to any single entity definition be kept below 50.
To access the schema:
-
On the menu bar, click Manage .
-
On the Manage page, click Schema.
To navigate the list of entity definitions, use the Next and Previous arrows. To navigate directly to a specific page, click the current page number and, in the Go to page drop-down interface, enter a page number and click Go.
To view the schema in the form of a diagram, click Tree view in the view selector list. In the tree view, to highlight an entity definition and all direct relations, click that definition.
