# Add a subject and type to a rights profile

If you are using a subject-based match strategy, you must add a subject and type to each of your rights profiles.

To add a subject and type to a rights profile:

1. On the menu bar, click **Manage** :mdiCogOutline:.
2. On the **Manage** page, click **Entities**.
3. Click the *M.DRM.RightsProfile* definition.
4. Next to the rights profile you want to edit, click **Details**.
5. On the entity details page, in the left pane, click **System** and then click **Edit** :mdiPencilOutline:.
6. Fill out the **Subject** and **Type** fields using details relevant to the rights profile.

    > The **Type** drop-down list is not configurable. Contact your Content Hub Administrator to update the `DRM.Subject.SubjectToRightsProfile` setting with new options.

7. Click **Save**.
