Modal This functionality requires elevated permissions.

The Modal component provides a button that lets users open a modal window containing information about the current entity. This information is retrieved from a linked page. Settings for the Modal component are specific to the portal language selected in the upper-right corner of the application window.

To add a Modal component:

  1. On the menu bar, click Manage .

  2. On the Manage page, click Pages.

  3. On the Pages page, select the page you want to modify.

  4. On the Layout tab, add the page component.

  5. Click the component to open its details page.

  6. In the Page section, from the Link to page list, select the page you want to link to.

  7. In the Button label field, enter a label for the button that opens the modal window.

  8. If you want the modal window to include a button that lets users save the changes made on the linked page or simply close the page, click Add button Plug icon., define the following settings, and then click Add button. You can repeat this step to add multiple buttons if required.
