# Convert a brief to a campaign or project

You can use an approved brief that you created as a starting point for a [campaign](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/campaigns.html "Campaigns") or [project](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/projects.html "Projects"). When you convert a brief, it creates a new project or campaign prefilled with the brief details from the mapped fields defined in your conversion settings.
