To quickly create a [state flow](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/state-flows.html "State flows"), you can create a copy of an existing state flow and then modify it to suit your needs.

To create a copy of a state flow:

1. On the menu bar, click **Manage** :mdiCogOutline:.
2. On the **Manage** page, click **State flows**.
3. On the **State flows** page, next to the state flow you want to duplicate, click **Duplicate state flow** :mdiContentCopy:.
4. In the **Copy a state flow** dialog, configure the following properties:

    | Field | Description |
    | --- | --- |
    | **Name** | Name to display on the target definition detail page, when selecting from a list of available state flows. Use a name that describes the intent of the flow. This field is required. |
    | **Detail page** | State flow assignees receive an email notification if the content is ready for their input. This option adds a redirection link to a detail page within the email notification. Enter the page manually or click **Add** :mdiPlus: to select it from a list. |
    | **Email template** | Specify a template for the notification email, either by entering its name manually or by clicking **Add** :mdiPlus: to select it from a list. |

5. Click **Save and configure states**.
6. On the state flow details page, [edit the state flow](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/edit-a-state-flow.html "Edit a state flow") as required.
