# Create a job

You can create a job with or without a template. Any job can be used as a template, which simplifies the creation of jobs with identical or similar settings. The content in a job consists of files you upload or fragments you create.

To create a job:

1. On the menu bar, click **Project** > **Jobs**.
2. On the **Jobs** page, click :mdiPlus: **Add** and select **Job**.
3. In the **Job** dialog, in the **Name** field, enter a name for the job.
4. To create another job, select the **Create another** check box.
5. Click **Save**. If you selected the **Create another** check box, the **Job** dialog displays where you can create another job. If you are not creating another item, the **Jobs** page opens.

    > [!note]
    > When you create another item, some of the fields are prefilled with values you already defined.

To create a job using a template:

1. On the menu bar, click **Project** > **Jobs**.
2. On the **Jobs** page, click **New** and select **New from template**.
3. In the **New from template** dialog, next to the **Template** field, click **Add** :mdiPlus:.
4. Select the check box next to the template you want to use and click **OK**.
5. In the **Name** field, define a name for the job and click **Create**.

## Upload files

You can upload selected files or import the URLs to the files you want to upload.

To upload files:

2. Click **Add** and select **Upload files**.
3. In the **Upload files** dialog, do any of the following:
    - To browse for files, on the **Upload** tab, click **Select files**, go to the location where the files you want to upload are saved, select them, and click **Open**.
    - To select files, on the **Upload** tab, drag the files you want to upload into the **Upload files** dialog.
    - To import files, on the **Import links** tab, paste one or more URLs to the files you want to upload. Links to file storage platforms (such as Google Drive and Dropbox) are not supported.

## Add fragments

[Fragments](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/fragments.html "Fragments") are useful when you want to reuse text, and you can create them as part of the job.

To add fragments:

2. On the job details page, click :mdiPlus: **Add** and select :mdiPlus: **Fragment**.
3. In the **Fragment** dialog, next to **Locale**, click **Add** :mdiPlus: and, in the **Locale** dialog, select the check box next to the locale you want to use and then click **OK**.
