# Create and download an annotation report

The annotation report is particularly useful in the review and approval process because it enables you to download reviewer annotations in a [structured PDF report](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/annotation-report-format.html "Annotation report format"). In this way, you can share annotations with external agencies who do not have access to the annotations directly but who need to see them so they can respond accordingly.

The generation of an annotation report PDF requires the installation of two specific print templates:

- **AnnotationReportPdf**
- **AnnotationReportAudioVideo**

> You can create an annotation report for every type of asset.

To create and download an annotation report:

1. On the asset details page, click **Annotate** :mdiNoteOutline:.
2. On the **Annotations** page, click **Download PDF**.
