# Create collections

A [collection](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/collections.html "Collections") is a group of assets, which you can share with other users when you need to work collaboratively on that collection [through comments](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/add-comments-to-collections.html "Add comments to collections").

To create a collection:

1. On the menu bar, click **Collections**.
2. In the top-right corner of the **Collections** page, click :mdiPlus: **Collection**.
3. In the **Collection** dialog, fill out the following fields.

    | Field | Description | Value |
    | --- | --- | --- |
    | **Name** | Name of the collection | String value |
    | **Collection type** | Type of the collection | *Campaign, Product,* or *Event* |
    | **Description** | Brief description of the collection | String value |

4. To create another collection, select the **Create another** check box.
5. Click **Save**. If you selected the **Create another** check box, the **Collection** dialog displays where you can create another collection. If you are not creating another item, the **Collections** page opens.

    > When you create another item, some of the fields are prefilled with values you already defined.
