# Custom download parameters

From the asset details page, you can create a custom rendition by clicking either of the following:

- **\+ Rendition** in the **Renditions** section.
- **Download** **Custom download**.

![Where to create a custom rendition](https://doc.sitecore.com/api/markdown-image/ch/en/users/content-hub/images/where_to_create_a_custom_rendition.png)

You can then specify the following custom download parameters:

| Field | Description | Affected formats |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Format** | File format of the download. Which format is available depends on the type of asset. | All |
| **Color profile** | Color profile to use for the rendition:sRGBDefaultCMYKDefaultCustom color profile | Image and vector assets. |
| **Crop** | [Crop type](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/crop-examples.html): **Don't crop**, **Crop to center**, **Crop to a custom focal point**, **Smart crop**, or **Manual crop** | Image assets.Selecting *Crop to a custom focal point* displays an **Edit focal point** button that lets you set up a focal point that is initially centered. |
| **Dimensions** | Dimension of the custom rendition: **Don't resize**, **Custom width and height**, **Aspect ratio: 16:9, 4:3**, or **1:1**, **Preset dimensions** | Image assets. |
| **Max. width** | Cropped image or vector width. Numerical value + (*pixels, inches, centimeters,* or *millimeters*). | Image and vector assets. |

| **Resolution(DPI)** | Resolution of the custom rendition. | Image and vector assets. |
| **Filename** | Overwrites the name of the download file. If you do not provide a value, the original file name is used. To use asset properties as variables, write the property name between curly brackets (**{Title}**). | All |
| **Save rendition** | Saves the custom download as a new default rendition for the asset. | All |
| **Rendition name** | Name of the new rendition. | All |
| **Description** | Description of the new rendition. | All |

> [!note]
> Setting a focal point does not affect other public links, custom downloads, or renditions created for the same or any other asset.

> [!important]
> A public link created for a custom rendition will not work if a [new version of the rendition is uploaded](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/upload-a-new-version.html "Upload a new version") or the master file changes.

## Available conversion formats

The following table lists the formats that you can apply to your assets.

| Asset type | Available conversion formats |
| --- | --- |
| **Audio** | **MP3** |
| **Document** | **PDF** |
| **Image** | **JPG**, **PNG**, **TIF** |
| **Vector** | **JPG**, **PDF**, **PNG**, **TIF** |
| **Video** | **MP4**, **WEBM** |

> [!important]
> You cannot convert files bigger than 50Mb. Furthermore, images in a layered file format, such as `.ai`, `.psd`, or `.pdn`, do not offer the conversion functionality in their original format, but they auto download. However, because **Preview** and **Thumbnail** do not render in `.png`, these renditions support conversions.
