# Customize the Search component

After you customize the **Search** component, only approved assets from the standard repository are displayed.

To customize the **Search** component:

1. On the available assets page, on the **Layout** tab, in the **MAIN ZONE**, click **More actions** :mdiDotsHorizontal: > **Edit**.
2. On the **Filters** tab, on the **System** tab, click **Add filter** :mdiPlus: to add a system filter and do the following:
    - Select the **Simple** option.
    - Select the **Definition** filter type.
    - From the **Definition** list, select *Asset (M.Asset)*.
3. Click **Save**.
4. Click **Add filter** :mdiPlus: and do the following:
    - Select the **Simple** option.
    - Select the **Relation** filter type.
    - From the **Definition** list, select *Status (M.Final.LifeCycle.Status)*.
    - From the **Field** list, select *Assets (FinalLifeCycleStatusToAsset)*.
    - For the operator, select **Equals**.
    - Click **\+ Add** and then click **Approved**.
5. Select **Save**.
6. Click **Add filter** :mdiPlus: to create a new system filter:
    - Select the **Simple** type.
    - Select the **Relation** filter type.
    - From the **Definition** list, select *Content Repository (M.Content.Repository)*.
    - From the **Field** list, select *Assets (ContentRepositoryToAsset)*.
    - For the operator, select **Equals**.
    - Click **\+ Add** and then click **Standard**.
7. Click **Save**. The page now displays only approved assets from the standard repository and the settings defined are as shown in the following example.
