# Edit task details

You can modify task details and add or remove content as required.

To edit task details:

1. On the menu bar, click **Project** > **Tasks**.
2. On the **Tasks** page, next to the task you want to edit, click **More actions** :mdiDotsHorizontal: > **Edit task**.
3. In the task details dialog, modify the name, message, or predecessors as required.
4. If you want the task to be dependent on all predecessors, in the **PREDECESSORS OPTIONS** section, turn on the **Await all predecessors** switch.
5. To change the predecessor tasks from which to include attachments, do one of the following:
    - Click X to remove a task.
    - Click **Add** :mdiPlus: to add tasks.
6. To change the content, assets, or fragments attached to the task, in the **MANUALLY ADD CONTENT** section, do one of the following:
    - Click X to remove content, assets, or fragments.
    - Click **Add** :mdiPlus: to add content, assets, or fragments.
7. Click **Save**.
