Upon creation, a content item begins as an idea in the New state of the Ideation flow. There are three states in the Ideation flow, as described in the following table.
|In this state, you draft your idea to submit for approval. By default, this is the first state of the flow.
|Once you click Submit, your idea moves to the Pending approval state.
|In this state, your idea is ready for the content administrator to approve for creation.
|If your idea is approved, it moves to the To do state where it is ready for the creation process. If your idea is rejected, it returns to the New state.
|In this state, your idea is ready for the creation process to start.
|Your idea automatically moves to the CMP flow.
