# News items

[News items](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/create-a-news-item.html "Create a news item") can include any news you consider relevant, such as exciting new avenues of development for your organization. After creating news items, you can publish them to your version of Sitecore Content Hub by [configuring a Search component](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/configure-the-search-component.html "Configure the Search component") on a suitable page.
