# Rights profiles

After you [create a DRM contract](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/manage-drm-contracts.html "Manage DRM contracts"), you [associate rights profiles](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/add-a-rights-profile-to-a-contract.html "Add a rights profile to a contract") with it. Rights profiles contain the validation rules you want to set on restricted assets. When you [add assets to a rights profile](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/add-assets-to-a-rights-profile.html "Add assets to a rights profile"), download rights are only granted if the intended use matches the rules. Sitecore Content Hub automatically adds a watermark to previews of restricted assets.

You can add an asset to more than one rights profile. In this case, download permission is granted by default when the intended use matches any of the related rights profiles; however, you can change the [match strategy](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/match-strategies.html "Match strategies") to align with your requirements.
