# Set up a Google Cloud account

The steps below contain information on how to set up a Google Cloud account, required for the successful Google Cloud Natural Language integration.

Navigate to [Google Cloud Platform](https://console.cloud.google.com/freetrial). Use an existing Google Account or create a new one.

After authentication a user is redirected to a 2-step configuration:

When the account is successfully created, add a new project or choose an existing one.

Navigate to IAM & Admin - Service accounts. Click Create service account, fill in the necessary information, give permissions if needed and in the third step create a JSON key.

The key should be automatically downloaded on your computer. It will be used further for authentication.
