# Share assets via email

You can use the [**Share via email**](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/share-via-email.html) feature to share assets directly with internal and external recipients. This feature lets you share assets with multiple recipients and simplifies the process of downloading assets.

The **Share via email** operation is available by default on the **Assets**, **Collections**, **Downloads**, and asset details pages.

No metadata is shared when using the **Share via email** feature.
