# System insights

> To access the **System insights** page, you must be a superuser.

The **System insights** page provides key statistics and reports about entities and entity definitions in your Content Hub instance.

You can use this page to:

- Track the total number of entities, definitions, and taxonomies in your instance.
- See the split between built-in versus custom definitions and taxonomy definitions.
- View specific reports about entity definitions.

To access the **System insights** page:

- In the main navigation, click **Analytics** > **System insights**

## Reports

The **System insights** page includes reports about entity definitions. You can select the available reports from the drop-down list in the top-left of the page.

You can view the following reports:

- **Number of property definitions on an entity definition** - Displays all entity definitions and how many property members they contain.

    > Entity definitions that contain a large number of property members can degrade performance and often violate the 'composition over inheritance' principle in domain modeling.

- **Overview of entity definitions** - Displays an overview of each entity definition and the number of associated entities.
