# Upload a JavaScript bundle

To make a JavaScript (JS) bundle available to Sitecore Content Hub, you can either upload it as a portal asset, or create a reference to a bundle uploaded to a content delivery network (CDN) of your choice.

After uploading a bundle, you can [add an external component](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/add-an-external-component.html "Add an external component") that uses that bundle. If you uploaded the bundle to a CDN, you’ll need to provide the resulting URL while creating the external component.

To upload a JavaScript bundle as a portal asset:

1. Upload the bundle as a [portal asset](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/portal-assets.html "Portal assets").
2. Wait for all the renditions to be processed. You can view their progress on your [Background processes](https://doc.sitecore.com/ch/en/users/content-hub/view-background-process-logs.html "View background process logs") page.
