Chart filter

The chart filter component can be perceived as an extension page component to the reporting tool where an additional time dimension can be applied. One can choose between a quick filter or a specified start- and end date.

If the user is to add a quick filter, the following input values are required:

• Label: text label to be given on the reporting page for the quick filter
• Time offset: integer value which is aligned with the selected quick filter period
• Period: five values are available for the selection of period e.g. minute, hour day, month, or year.

The ADD FILTER button will add a quick filter on the reporting page, as shown below.

The new filter is then added to the list of Filters (please note the list of filters can be ordered through drag and drop functionality):

When a user chooses the button, they can pick a time period to which the data reports will correspond with.

All graphs on the reporting page on which the chart filter is added will be adapted to the selected time filter:
