Given an entity ID and a user within the system, the security diagnostics tool can determine all the permissions the dedicated user has on that particular entity.

The evaluation process takes into consideration both direct and indirect granted permissions. The permission sources are the following:

Direct policy:
The permissions a user receives when they're indicated as a collaborator for that entity (e.g. a collection, a project).

Indirect policy:
The permissions a user receives in consequence of the security groups they belong to.
