# Refresh a template for a hosted page

In the Customer Engagement Console (CEC), you can refresh a template for a hosted page using the **Edit Page Settings** option. This is useful when there is a style change or a global resource change, for example.

To refresh a template:

1. In the CEC, on the menu bar, click **Pages**.
2. To find the page whose template you want to refresh, use the **Search in pages** field.
3. Hover the mouse over the page's name, click ![Browse.png](https://doc.sitecore.com/api/markdown-image/discover/en/users/discover-user-guide/images/Browse.png) , and then click **Edit Page Settings**.
4. In the **Template** section, click **Edit**.
5. Click **Update template on Save** (![refresh_icon.png](https://doc.sitecore.com/api/markdown-image/discover/en/users/discover-user-guide/images/refresh_icon.png)), then click **Save**.

    > [!note]
    > A **Template downloading in progress** warning appears as the CEC downloads the template to your system. This process might take a couple of minutes.

6. Use your browser's reload button to reload the page.
7. On the **Page Settings** tab, click **Publish**.
