Deployment

Improvement

This release includes multiple container deployment improvements:

  • Restructured XC container images to facilitate the deployment and configuration of commerce assets on a XP deployment.

  • Commerce module asset images are now separated from runnable images. With this change, you no longer need to create XC images that are supersets of XP, SXA and XC assets. Instead you now layer commerce asset images on top of XP images.

  • A new initialize startup script in Docker-compose, called ComposeInit.ps1, automates steps that used to be performed manually.
