Copy a decision template to another tenant

Sitecore Personalize lets you copy a decision template from one tenant to another using the Copy to tenant feature. For example, you can easily copy a decision template from a non-production environment to a production environment. This process saves time and reduces errors from manual copying and pasting.

Team members with a User, Developer, or Admin role in Sitecore Cloud Portal can copy a decision template between tenants.

To copy a decision template to another tenant:

  1. From the Decision templates page, open the template you want to copy.

  2. Click Vertical ellipsis > Copy to tenant.

  3. Select a destination tenant from the drop-down list. The list only includes tenants you have access to. Click Go.

  4. In the Copy To Tenant page, enter a unique name for the decision template. Sitecore Personalize automatically creates an ID when you name the template.

    Important

If a draft decision template with the same name already exists in the destination tenant, to avoid conflicts, you can overwrite the template or create a new one with a unique name.

  5. Click Create. A message appears on the page confirming that the decision template has been successfully copied. The copied template opens in the editor within the selected destination tenant.

You can either use the copy as is, or modify it as needed, without impacting the original entity.
