Manage API access in Sitecore Personalize

To use the Sitecore Personalize APIs, you must have a client key so Sitecore can authenticate any of your services that call the Sitecore Personalize APIs.

You need a client key to activate the Engage JavaScript library on your website and mobile application to start capturing guest behavior.

To retrieve your client key:

  1. On the navigation menu, click > Company Information.

  2. Copy your organization's Client key. A client key is a unique identifier that is used to authenticate the client when it receives API calls.

  3. Click Save.

Warning

Ensure that you keep your client key secure. Never send this information in an email message that uses plain text and is not encrypted.
