Join a Sitecore Cloud Portal organization

Before you can access a Sitecore Cloud Portal organization, a team member with an Organization Admin or Organization Owner role needs to invite you to join that organization. After they invite you, you'll receive an email invitation.

If you're already a member of another organization, you just need to log in and accept the invitation. If you're joining your first organization, the sign-in process depends on whether your email address is already associated with an enabled SSO connection.

Important

You must accept the invitation to join the organization within 7 days or the invitation will expire and you'll need to be invited again.

Join as an existing member of another organization

If you're already a member of another organization, log in to the Cloud Portal and accept the invitation. You'll see all pending invitations when you log in to your account.

Join your first organization

If you haven't previously joined any organizations, this process will vary depending on whether your email address is associated with an enabled SSO connection. If it isn't, you'll need to create a Sitecore Cloud Portal account.

To join your first organization:

  1. Open the email from [email protected] and click Go to Portal.

  2. On the login page, enter the email address where you received the invitation, then click Continue.

  3. Depending on where you're redirected to, do one of the following:

Sign in using your SSO credentials

If your account is associated with an SSO provider, you need to sign in and accept the conditions of use for Sitecore Cloud Portal.

Important

Some aspects of this process are determined by your SSO provider.

To sign in using your SSO credentials:

  1. Enter the requested credentials as instructed by your provider.

  2. If the Sitecore ID app requests permissions, click Accept or Allow.

  3. On the Sitecore Terms and Conditions page, read the terms and conditions. If you accept them, click I accept.

Sign up for a Sitecore Cloud Portal account

If you are not redirected to an identity provider's log in page and instead see the Sitecore Cloud Portal page, you need to create a Sitecore Cloud Portal account.

To sign-up for a Sitecore Cloud Portal account:

  1. On the Sitecore Cloud Portal page, click Sign up.

  2. On the Sign up page, click Continue.

  3. Enter a valid password for your account, then click Continue.

    Important

    Your password must be at least eight characters and contain:

    • Uppercase letters (A-Z), lowercase letters (a-z), and numbers (0-9).

    • Non-alphanumeric characters such as ! @ # $ % ^ & *.

    Do not include personal data such as your name.

  4. On the Pending invitations page, join the organization by clicking Accept. An account verification email is sent to your email address.

  5. Open the email from [email protected] and click Verify account.

    Tip

    If you didn't receive an email, check your junk or spam folder.

  6. On the Email verification status page, click Back to Sitecore Cloud Portal.

  7. In the Complete your profile dialog, enter your first and last name, then click Continue.

  8. On the Sitecore Terms and Conditions page, read the terms and conditions. If you accept them, click I accept.
