# What's new in Content SDK 2.5

Content SDK for Next.js 2.5 introduces [Schema.org and JSON-LD rendering](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/developers/content-sdk/20/render-schema-org-structured-data-as-json-ld.html) and a [CLI command for listing experimental features](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/developers/content-sdk/20/cli-commands-and-configuration.html#the-experimental-list-command). It also includes improvements to component rendering, media URL rewriting, proxies, and Pages Router builds.

To update your existing Content SDK 2.4 application to 2.5:

1. In your existing application's `package.json` file, update the following:

    ```json
    "@sitecore-content-sdk/nextjs": "^2.5.0"
    ```

    You must also update the following package to the version specified:

    <table style="width:100%;" class="informaltable frame-void rules-rows"><thead><tr><th class="th"><p>Package</p></th><th class="th"><p>Version</p></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td class="td"><p><code class="code">@sitecore-content-sdk/cli</code></p></td><td class="td"><p><code class="code">^2.4.0</code></p></td></tr></tbody></table>

    > [!note]
    > Content SDK packages use independent versioning. Not all packages have the same version number.

2. Install the dependencies with the following command:

    ```shell
    npm install
    ```

3. If your app relies on Sitecore stylesheet links, configure `NEXT_PUBLIC_SITECORE_EDGE_CONTEXT_ID`. Stylesheet URLs now use the public client context ID rather than the server context ID.

Review the [Content SDK release page](https://github.com/Sitecore/content-sdk/releases) for a complete list of changes for version 2.5.
