# Sitecore editors and content management

Applications created with the Sitecore JavaScript Services SDK (JSS) can be [integrated with advanced Sitecore editors](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/developers/jss/22/jss-sai/architecture-and-apis-for-integrating-jss-next-js-apps-with-sitecore-editors.html "Architecture and APIs for integrating JSS Next.js apps with Sitecore editors"), including:

- Pages
- Experience Editor

Editor integration is configured by default in [JSS Next.js applications included in the XM Cloud Next.js Starter Kit containers](https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/developers/xm-cloud/en/set-up-your-full-stack-sitecoreai-local-development-environment.html).

> [!note]
> **XM Cloud is now SitecoreAI**
> Some code examples, images, and UI labels may still use XM Cloud while engineering assets are being updated.

For [applications you create with the JSS initializer](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/developers/jss/217/jss-sai/walkthrough--creating-a-jss-next-js-application-with-the-jss-initializer.html), you must configure the integration.
