# Add a custom connector to your MCP server

You can add a custom connector that uses the provider's sign-in flow to access a remote MCP server and run MCP tools within chat conversations.

To add a custom connector:

1. In the navigation menu, click **Agentic** and then, in the left sidebar, click :mdiWrenchOutline: **Tools**.
2. On the **Tools** page, click **Add custom connector**.
3. In the **Add custom connector** dialog, in the **Name** field, enter a descriptive name for the connector.
4. In the **Remote MCP server URL** field, enter the server URL, for example, `https://<NAME>.com/api/mcp`.
5. In the **Authentication** drop-down menu, select the authentication method:
    - **None** - connect without authentication.
    - **OAuth** - authenticate using the provider's OAuth sign-in flow.
    - **API key** - authenticate using an API key.
6. Click **Add connector**.

The connector is added to the **Custom MCP connectors** section of the **Tools** page, where you can manage its availability, connection, authentication, and configuration.

## Manage custom connectors

After you add a custom connector, you can enable or disable it, validate the connection, reconnect or disconnect it, rotate its API key, or delete it.
