# Brief generator

The **Brief Generator** is an [agent](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/users/sitecoreai/working-with-agentic-studio/understanding-agents.html "Understanding agents") that helps marketers simplify planning by turning a few key inputs into clear, structured briefs.

It organizes goals, audience insights, and messaging into a focused, standardized brief, helping teams align on objectives and direction while reducing planning time.

The agent generates an actionable brief that teams can use as a foundation for campaign execution.

After you provide your input, the agent:

- Analyzes your prompt or content source.
- Researches the topic and audience as needed.
- Generates a structured campaign brief with clear objectives and guidelines.

## When to use

Use the **Brief Generator** agent for the following business scenarios:

- Turning campaign goals and notes into clear creative briefs.
- Kicking off marketing or content projects with aligned direction.
- Preparing shareable briefs for cross-functional team collaboration.

## Edit the configuration

Before running this agent, review and update its configuration to control how it generates content.

The configuration determines what the agent produces and how it behaves, so you can align it with your brand, audience, and use case.
