# Manage a signal

The [**Signals**](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/users/sitecoreai/working-with-agentic-studio/understanding-signals/understanding-signals.html "Understanding signals") page provides up to three AI-generated signals each day based on your preferences. You can review and explore these signals on the **Signals** page, and take action on them from the Agentic studio **[Overview](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/users/sitecoreai/working-with-agentic-studio/get-started-with-the-agentic-studio/get-started-with-the-agentic-studio.html#latest-trends "Latest trends")** page.

- **Summary** - a concise statement highlighting the key message.
- **Brief Overview** - a high-level explanation of the data point or market trend.
- **Why it is important** - explains the strategic or business relevance of the signal.
- **Deeper report** - supporting evidence and data that provide deeper context.

## Take action on a signal

You can turn a signal into an AI-generated action plan from the Agentic studio **[Overview](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/users/sitecoreai/working-with-agentic-studio/get-started-with-the-agentic-studio/get-started-with-the-agentic-studio.html#latest-trends "Latest trends")** page.

To take action on a signal:

2. In the left sidebar, click :mdiSpeedometer: **Overview**.
3. In the **Latest Signals** section, click a signal to open it.
4. Review the signal details.
5. Click **Action Signal**.

    > [!note]
    > The **Action Signal** button is available only when you open a signal from the **Overview** page, not from the **Signals** page.

The signal opens in the **[Chat](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/users/sitecoreai/working-with-agentic-studio/understanding-chat/understanding-chat.html "Understanding chat")** page where AI performs a multi-layered analysis of the signal. The generated response:

    - Identifies the topic and intent of the signal.
    - Extracts the most important insights and trends.
    - Connects the signal to relevant SitecoreAI capabilities.
    - Recommends clear next steps and actions.
6. After reviewing the response, you can continue working in the same thread using the standard [Chat interface features and tools](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/users/sitecoreai/working-with-agentic-studio/understanding-chat/chat-features-and-tools.html "Chat"). You can enter a new prompt, add context, attach files, use voice input, select the type of AI processing, and choose an agent or flow to build on the response.

    **Example**

Select an agent to expand on the AI's response and generate related content in the same conversation. For example, use **Brief Generator** to create a brief based on the recommended next steps.

To return to this conversation later, click [Chat](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/users/sitecoreai/working-with-agentic-studio/understanding-chat/understanding-chat.html#chat-page "Understanding chat") in the left sidebar, then select the conversation from the **History** pane.

## Interact with a signal in chat

5. In the chat interface, you can access the standard [Chat interface](https://doc.sitecore.com/sai/en/users/sitecoreai/working-with-agentic-studio/understanding-chat/chat-features-and-tools.html "Chat") features. You can enter a new prompt, add context, attach files, use voice input, select the type of AI processing, and choose an agent or flow to build on the response.

    **Example**
