# FORM events

The `FORM` event captures a site visitor's interaction with [SitecoreAI forms](https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/en/forms.html), such as when a site visitor views or submits a form. Data entered in the form is not collected by this event.

> [!note]
> Content SDK and JSS apps [automatically capture](https://doc.sitecore.com/sdk/en/developers/005/cloud-sdk/cloud-sdk-concepts/concepts-tracking/events/developer-guides.html "Developer guides") `FORM` events, with no coding required.
>
> To capture and send behavioral data in a form not created in SitecoreAI, use a [custom](https://doc.sitecore.com/sdk/en/developers/005/cloud-sdk/cloud-sdk-concepts/concepts-tracking/events/custom-events.html "Custom events") event instead.

`FORM` events:

- Can only be sent from the browser (client-side tracking), not from the server.
- Can't contain extension data or search data.
- Can't be added to the event queue.
