# Prerequisites

Check that you have the following before getting started:

- React 19 if you're using the Search JS SDK for React `v3.0.0` or later.

    These versions are fully compatible with React 19 and are required for seamless integration with other Sitecore SDKs such as Content SDK and JSS 22.7.0 and higher.

- React 18 or earlier if you're using the Search JS SDK for React versions earlier than `v3.0.0`.
- [Node.js](https://nodejs.org/en) 16 or later. Check your installed version by using the `node --version` command.
