Add, verify, and delete a custom domain

Abstract

Learn how to work with custom domains for the platform and for landing pages.

You can create a custom domain for your Sitecore Send platform and landing page, so that it reflects your characteristics and branding. You must verify a custom domain before you can personalize it. You can also configure existing domains.

First, you must create a platform custom domain (CNAME), that appears as your platform URL. This CNAME is also used for most links and URLs associated with your account and subaccounts. After this domain is verified, the default domain for your platform will be replaced.

Note

You can only have one platform domain.

To add a custom domain:

Important

Before you change domain settings, you must make sure that you have access to your domain's DNS records.

  1. On the Dashboard, in the top right corner, click Account, and click Settings.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Branding.

  3. On the Your Custom Domains page, you can view the default domains for both the platform and the landing page. Depending on what domain you want to create, go to the Platform custom domain section or the Landing page custom domain section, and click Create new domain.
