Add a custom domain for your landing pages

Abstract

Learn how to add a custom domain for your landing pages.

You can add a custom domain (CNAME) for your landing pages to align it with your characteristics and branding.

To create a custom domain, you must create a landing page custom domain for your landing page URLs. After this domain is verified, you will be able to select it in the publishing settings of your landing pages.

To add a new landing page custom domain:

  1. In the top right corner, click Account, then in the drop-down menu, click Settings.

  2. On the Settings page, click the Branding tab.

  3. The Landing page custom domain section displays your existing landing page custom domains. Click Create new domain.

  4. In the Create new domain dialog, enter or select a domain from the drop-down, then click Create & Verify.

    Note

The custom domain you add in this step is a subdomain you create in your own domain. If your domain address is mydomain.com and your default Sitecore Send landing page domain is mydomain.m-pages.com, then you need to create a subdomain with your preferred custom domain name, for example, landing.mydomain.com. Then, add a CNAME record to the DNS of your domain mydomain.com, and in the CNAME record, you must point landing.mydomain.com to your default Sitecore Send landing page domain mydomain.m-pages.com.

  5. To verify your custom domain now, click Verify DNS Record. To verify your custom domain at a later time, click Verify Later.

    Tip

It takes 30 minutes or more to apply any changes you have made.

  6. When the custom domain is verified, you can continue personalizing your custom domain.
