This topic explains how to configure components previously built with Content Editor. If you want to learn about components built with XM Cloud Components instead, visit the XM Cloud Components documentation.
In XM Cloud Pages, you can use the settings available in the right-hand pane to change or remove the content of an image component.
To add or change the contents of an image field:
In a page containing a placeholder for an image, click on the image field you want to modify.
In the right-hand pane, click Add if the image field is empty, or Change if the field has content you want to replace.
In the Add an image dialog, choose where your image is saved: in your Media Library, or in your Digital Asset Manager (DAM) integrated with Pages if you have one.
Navigate to the image you want to display in the field or search for the image by name.
When using the Media Library, you can type text in the Search field, the dialog displays all images that have the search string as a part of their name and that are in the current folder or one of its subfolders.
Optionally, to upload a new media file in the library, click Upload media and select a file with one of the following extensions: jpeg, jpg, gif, png, svg, or bmp. You can see the new file in your library after it is indexed.
Select the image you want and click Add selected.
Alternatively, if you know the path to the image you want to add, you can enter it in the Image path field.
To remove the image from the image field:
In the right-hand pane, click Clear.
