Pages
Describes how to work with the Pages view of XM Cloud Pages.
XM Cloud Pages is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor that allows you to easily make changes to items that are visible on a page such as text, graphics, logos, and so on. In the Pages tab, you view the page as it will appear on your website when you publish it.
In the Pages editor, you can create new pages based on page templates, and you can edit existing pages. You can add components to the page, and you can write and edit content directly on the page. While you are editing a page, you can switch between different device layouts to see what the page looks like on different devices.
In Pages, you can edit the fields of any items rendered on the page. For instance, if the menu on the page consists of titles of the product items, you can edit the titles without navigating to the product items themselves. You can also add and remove components on the page.
The page editor is the default view in Pages - you can return to the page editor from other views by clicking the Pages icon in the side toolbar.
You can undo and redo changes, and your work is saved automatically. You can also create different versions of a page. If a page belongs to a workflow, you can move the page through the workflow in the Pages editor. If you have publishing rights, you can publish pages from the editor.
