Styling and Advanced styling settings

Note

This topic explains how to configure components previously built with Content Editor. To learn about components built with XM Cloud Components instead, visit the XM Cloud Components documentation.

In XM Cloud Pages, the styling section contains the most common settings that affect the look and feel of the content in the component itself.

Styling

The styling section is where you can configure spacing and alignment, and sometimes add highlights to areas of the layout.

Advanced styling

This section contains styling options specific to the component that further affect the rendering of the component itself.

In addition, some components can be replaced by a variant. Variants make a component appear differently or make it show different content.
