Work with XM Cloud Pages

XM Cloud Pages is a WYSIWYG application where you can create new pages for your website, as well as edit existing pages. This topic describes how to work with Pages and lists useful keyboard shortcuts for editing.

Create pages and add content to your website

To build a website with Pages:

  1. Open XM Cloud Pages for the relevant instance.

  2. On the global toolbar, select the website you want to work on.

  3. On the Pages tab, in the left-hand side pane, use the action menu to create a new page at the relevant place in the site tree (you can always drag and drop that page to another position later).

  4. Open the page you created and add components.

  5. Assign content to each component. The content can already exist as content items in your site, or you can create new content.

  6. Configure components using the settings available in the right-hand pane.

  7. When the page is ready, publish.

Autosave, undo, and redo

The application saves your changes automatically at regular intervals, or when you click away from the field that you are editing.

To undo your changes:

  • On the top toolbar, click Undo.

To reinstate your changes:

  • On the top toolbar, click Redo .
