Disable user boosting

It's possible to boost the number of concurrent XP users temporarily, for example, if you don't have time to purchase additional users from Sitecore. However, using this option can result in additional costs for your organization, and it's therefore possible to disable it.

To disable user boosting:

  1. Log in to Sitecore as an Administrator.

  2. Open the Sitecore Desktop and switch to the core database.

  3. In the Content Editor, navigate to /sitecore/client/Applications/LicenseOptions/License options/PageSettings/AddUserBtn.

    Note

    The item path for /sitecore/client/Applications/LicenseOptions/License options/ is /sitecore/client/Applications/LicenseOptions/StartPage.

  4. Clear the IsEnabled check box and then click Save.

After you've completed these steps, your organization won't be able to add more users, and the Add users button will be unavailable.
