Update XP service role license files

All XP service roles

To update the license file used by an XP service role, place a valid copy of the license.xml in the App_data folder. In addition, you must update the following worker role license files:

  • App_Data\jobs\continuous\ProcessingEngine\App_Data for the Processing Engine, which is bundled with the Processing Table and Blob Storage service by default.

  • App_data\jobs\continuous\IndexWorker\App_data for the xConnect Search Indexer, which is bundled with the xConnect Collection Search service by default.

  • App_Data\jobs\continuous\AutomationEngine\App_Data for the Marketing Automation Engine, which is bundled with the Marketing Automation Operations service by default.

Note

If your license has expired, you must also update the Core role license files.
