Install the xConnect CLI plugin

The Sitecore.DevEx.Extensibility.XConnect plugin extends the DevEx CLI with the xconnect command to handle xConnect Data Tool tasks.

You can install the xConnect plugin with the plugin CLI command. This command extends the DevEx CLI with different commands.

To install the xConnect plugin:

  • Enter the following command into a terminal:

    RequestResponse
    dotnet sitecore plugin add -n Sitecore.DevEx.Extensibility.XConnect -t

To run the xconnect command, you must first run the DevEx CLI login command to authenticate. You must be a member of the sitecore\Sitecore XConnect Data Admin role.
