Retry Strategy

The storage providers must be resilient to transient errors and must use a retry strategy to handle transient exceptions during the file export process. Otherwise, the distributed processing worker might fail with no ability to resume the export process from the failed batch.
By default, Network Folder Provider is configured to use pre-defined XConnect.DataTools.StorageProvider.Retryer retryer. You can substitute it with a custom retryer. You can change the retry configuration of the provider in the App_Data/Config/Sitecore/Processing/sc.XConnect.DataTools.Workers.xml configuration file, in the <RetryerName> node for the provider.
