# Update contacts

The `Contact` class does not have any properties with a public setter. Refer to the following documentation for information about modifying facets and identifiers:

A contact’s `LastUpdated` and `ConcurrencyToken` properties are updated in the following scenarios:

- When a contact is added
- When a contact identifier is added
- When a contact identifier is removed

Adding or updating facets does not change the contact’s `LastUpdated` property.
