# Manually enable the Marketing Automation Operations service

You can manually enable the Marketing Automation Operations service on any other XP service application role to create a combined role. For example, to combine the Marketing Automation Reporting service with the Marketing Automation Operations service:

1. Install the Marketing Automation Reporting service using a WDP from the XP Scaled packages.
2. Manually enable the following configuration files by removing the `.disabled` suffix:

    | File | Path |
    | --- | --- |
    | `sc.XConnect.Collection.Initialize.xml` | `App_Data\Config\Sitecore\Collection\` |
    | `sc.XConnect.MarketingAutomation.Operations.Web.Initialize.xml` | `App_Data\Config\Sitecore\MarketingAutomation\` |
    | `sc.xConnect.ReferenceData.Initialize.xml` | `App_Data\Config\Sitecore\ReferenceData\` |
