# Add an email address to the Forms address book

To make it easier for the form designer, you can create an address book of email addresses. When the form designer creates an email message to be sent when the Submit action is triggered, these addresses are available in the **From** field.

To add an email address to the Forms address book:

1. On the [Sitecore Launchpad](https://doc.sitecore.com/xp/en/users/104/sitecore-experience-platform/overview-of-the-sitecore-launchpad.html), click **Content Editor**.
2. In the Content Editor, go to */sitecore/System/Settings/Forms/Meta Data/Address Book/Senders*.
3. Right-click **Address Book** and click **Insert, Email Address**.
4. In the **Message** dialog box, type a name for the item and click **OK**.
5. On the **Content** tab, in the **Data** section, in the **Value** field, type a valid email address (for example, Joe@domain.com).
6. Save your changes.

> [!note]
> To set an email address as the default address, in the Content Editor, drag the address item to just below the *Senders* folder so that it is the first address item in the list and save your changes.
