# Import media files in a ZIP file

To import a .zip file containing images, use the `Sitecore.Resources.Media.MediaUploader` class. To unpack the file that you want to upload, set the `Unpack` property to the *true* value. For an example of its use please see the `Sitecore.Shell.Controls.RichTextEditor.DBContentProvider.StoreFile` method.
